Remember that Sharepoint is accessible by everyone in Suffolk Libraries so by far the easiest way to share files is to simply send someone a link to your Teamsite so that they can access them directly. If, however, you need to send files outside the Suffolk Libraries network this is the easiest way to do it.
First browse to and select the file on your Teamsite you wish to send and click on the three dots to the right of the file
Left-click once on the file URL (the bit beginning HTTPS://) link so that it is highlighted. Then type CTRL C to copy the selected link….
Now open outlook and create a new email. Select Insert/Attach File/Browse This PC
Now CTRL V to insert the link you copied from Sharepoint and click open
This will insert a link to the file as an attachment in your email.
The final step is to click on the attachment icon and select the option “Attach as Copy” …..
